Manual AdSigner Agent update required

Due to an error in the AdSigner Agent update process, some users may need to manually update their AdSigner Agent. This article provides instructions on how to do so.

1. Check if you are running the latest version of AdSigner Agent

To find the version number, find the AdSigner Agent icon in the Windows system tray. Right-click on the icon and select "About". The version number will be displayed in the window that appears.

The version number of the latest AdSigner Agent is v1.2.11.

If you are running an older version, follow the steps below to manually update your AdSigner Agent.
If you are already running the latest version, no further action is required.

If AdSigner Agent is not running (you do not see the icon), start it by searching for "AdSigner" in the Windows search bar and clicking on the application.

If AdSigner Agent is not responding to your clicks, try finding it in the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and ending the process. Then start it again by searching for "AdSigner" in the Windows search bar and clicking on the application.

2. Disconnect account and quit

Before installing the new version, we want to have a clean start.

Right click on the AdSigner Agent icon in the Windows system tray. Open the Accounts menu and select Disconnect account for every account.

Then right click on the AdSigner Agent icon again and select Quit.

3. Uninstall AdSigner Agent

Go to Windows Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Find AdSigner Agent in the list and click on the three dots to open the menu. Select Uninstall.

4. Install and connect the latest version of AdSigner Agent

In your inbox, find an email from no-reply@adsigner.com titled "Your signature is ready". Follow the link in the email and follow the instructions to download and install the latest version of AdSigner Agent.
